ME
After
being around for more than twenty years this song has been given a new
lease of life through the talented arranging of Alan Mills and the wonders
of the internet.
It’s come a long way since
I strummed 3 chords and these words poured out. It was one of many simple
songs that helped my broken heart to communicate with the God who rescued
me and began His work of healing and restoration. He surrounds us with
‘songs of deliverance’ – and this is one of mine.
We have eternity in our
hearts and for me this song establishes that truth. I am still being changed
by God’s grace hopefully into the likeness of His Son and this song sounds
better now than ever.
