Creative Hearts Ministries - About Us

Hi,

My name is Alan Mills and I offer you a heartfelt welcome in Jesus’ name to the Creative Hearts Ministries website.  

For many years I have watched gifted songwriters bring their songs before church congregations. Whilst these songs have been clearly speaking of our Heavenly Father’s  love for the whole of the human race, the only people who ever get to hear them are those who happen to be visiting the church at the time.  

Yet these songs speak of the witness of His love for all mankind. They are powerful “missiles” which God has given to us to be launched towards the hearts of the broken and hurting.  Yet opportunities to do so are regularly squandered as they fall impotently over the edge of the pulpit, merely “entertaining” us.  

This issue has troubled me for years and a long standing desire has developed in my heart to be able to record and publish these songs.  Now, thanks to the recent advances in recording technology, coupled with God’s miraculous provision of finances, we have been enable to build a small recording studio.  The awesome power of the internet has enabled  us to turn the desire to publish these songs into a reality.  All glory to God in the highest.

In the book of Acts, Luke quotes Jesus’ missionary mandate: 

Acts 1:8
"But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth."

Creative Hearts Ministries was formed simply to enable some of the creative gifts that God has given to His witnesses to be used to testify of His goodness in their lives.

Over the last year God has brought writers, singers, musicians, a recording engineer and even a webmaster to us so that we could get started, hallelujah!!!.  God willing, we will be putting many more songs on the site as we go.  We will be including the writer’s testimonies of how God found them when they were lost. They will also share how God inspired the writing of each song.  We also hope to put poems and other writings on the site in the form of e-books.  

Jesus said “freely you have received, freely give” and we are determined that everything on this site will remain free to download.   We realise that our main audience will probably be made up of members of the body of Christ so, if you are part of that body, it would bless us greatly if you would share it freely with anyone you think might be spiritually hungry or thirsty.
